Tortillas are made in a hot skillet

Gallo pinto is one of the most popular and traditional dishes to start in the morning. It consists of a mixture of rice, refried beans, sweet pepper, onion, and coriander
Handmade tortillas, yes we will also teach you how to prepare real tortillas
Accompaniment: eggs, ripe bananas, and a natural drink or coffee
Drink: Coffee or ‘’agua dulce’’

 

LUNCH

Duration: 2.5 hours

Arroz con Pollo in the making, mixing the cooked rice with all the flavors

Menu option 1:
‘’Arroz con pollo’’: Rice with chicken a dish to celebrate, a dish to eat on special occasions such as weddings and baptisms.
Handmade tortillas, yes, we will also teach you how to prepare traditional tortillas.
Accompaniment: ground beans seasoned with spices and house salad with our special dressing.
Dessert: ‘’prestiños’’
Drink: natural fresh fruit that we produce on our farm.
Duration: 2.5 hours

Menu option 2:
Traditional ‘’Casado’’: Consist of rice, seasoned beans, ‘’picadillo’’, which is diced and seasoned vegetables, fried plantains, and chicken.
Handmade tortillas, yes we will also teach you how to prepare webbed tortillas.
Drink: natural fresh fruit that we produce on our farm.
Dessert: ‘’prestiños’’


 

SNACKS

Duration: 1.5 hours

Empanadas a traditional pastry filled with homemade marmalades

Menu option 1:
“Prestiños’’: One of the favorite sweets of children and adults, delicious and easy to prepare, a traditional dish to eat over afternoon coffee or as a dessert. It consists of flour dough that is kneaded, shaped, and fried in oil. It is then covered with a layer of sugar cane syrup.
Drink: Coffee or ‘’agua dulce’’

Menu option 2:
‘’Chorreadas’’: This is similar to a pancake, but this is made from grained corn and seasoned with some sugar and salt and then fried and topped with sour cream.
Drink: Coffee or ‘’agua dulce’’

Menu option 3:
‘’Chiverre’’ turnovers: These turnovers are prepared especially for the holy week season. Honey is made from the Spaghetti squash and is seasoned very well with spices, and then the dough is prepared, filled, and baked.
Drink: Coffee or ‘’agua dulce’’
